In a Gamebook, how do I fix that the text processor is not working properly on my version of Quest (I think)?

As per the above forum topic, it appears that I'm receiving errors when Quest parses my game file that other people cannot reproduce (ie, it appears that Quest dislikes my syntax or something, but others don't know why).

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Quest to try to resolve the issue, but I continue to have the error. Maybe there's something I failed to initialize or a game setting I've failed to properly set?

This has been resolved in the forum post linked above. I had blank spaces in the expression.
